Bond Markets and long-term interest rates in non-euro area Member States of the European Union -addendum incorporating 2006 figures

The European Central Bank (ECB) is today publishing an updated addendum to the November 2004 report entitled “Bond markets and long-term interest rates in non-euro area Member States of the European Union and in accession countries” (third edition).

The descriptive parts of the report contain an overview of the capital market structures in the non-euro area EU Member States, particularly in relation to the bond markets, and have remained accurate. The addendum being published today incorporates the figures for 2006 and was updated in cooperation with the national central banks concerned.
